Abraham Paul Petõ has over 35 years of railroad systems, track, facilities, and passenger stations engineering experience in the design, construction, and project management of both Passenger systems and Class 1 heavy freight.
Abraham Paul Petõ was born in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1956. His mother is from Hungary, while his father is from Nebraska.
Abraham was 6 years old, when he lost his father to brain tumor. He was taken to Budapest in Hungary by his mother to learn their cultural values.
He grew up with his mother in Hungary. His mother remarried and had a son her second married. Abraham’s mother died years ago due to cancer.
Abraham is physically fit, he had a fairly normal and happy childhood. He attended Otto Herman Secondary Grammar School in 1969. He studied Railway Engineering in Budapest University of Technology and Economics 1976.

Abraham Paul Petõ is a licensed structural engineer and licensed contractor with more than 30 years of railroad industry experience. He has designed, managed, and maintained countless railroad structures, and he has extensive experience inspecting, rating, and designing bridges. He is also experienced in construction management for track, bridge, and building construction.

As a senior rail engineer and line manager member, Abraham's role forms a key position providing civil engineering skills and technical knowledge of railway design and operations input into single- and multidisciplinary projects.
He is responsible for and working as part of a large team comprising designers, engineers and technicians. Abraham leads a number of engineers and more technical staff with input to railway projects of various sizes. He is also responsible for liaising regularly with staff managers and other technical leads, CREs, and team leaders.
